DESCRIPTION:Being Pivotal People is helping adults to be with and for children so all children can flourish. The 10 part Being Pivotal People course equips adults with learning and tools to offer children safety\, seeing\, soothing\, security\, and sensemaking. It is also a space where participants practice self-accompaniment. \nCourse 8\, Nurturing Seeds of Soothing\, is a space for participants to explore cultural sexual attitudes and shame\, and to practice naming needs and experiencing soothing. \nThis offering is available for Protect Our Children coordinators and members.
