DESCRIPTION:One of the neuroscientific tools we teach and practice at repairenting is getting to know and name our needs. It’s a very human thing: having needs. When our minds have clarity about what our current needs are\, our bodies experience a greater sense of sturdiness and calm and our minds can get more creative about meeting those needs. \nrepairenting’s February course is focused on one of the most media-saturated needs that people experience outside of movie-theater rom-coms: love. This month\, we’ll celebrate and honor love where you see it. Perhaps it’s a teacher that saw you when you were just a little one; perhaps it’s a barista who knows your order\, an auntie whose eyes light up when you walk in the room\, or a puppy whose tag wails wildly because you are there. \nJoin us Feb 1\, 11:30-1:00 to notice\, name\, and nurture love. $15/participant (email kerry@repairenting.org to inquire about scholarships)
